Janis Mooney has for the past 26 years been licensed as an Associate Broker with both CRS and GRI designations. Though most of her successful career in real estate was centered in Southeast Idaho, she recently added to her credentials by obtaining her Washington Broker's license. She is past East District Vice President of the Idaho Association of REALTORS® and recipient of many accomplished awards, including the Idaho award for Certified Resident Specialist (CRS) of the Year in 2001. Janis is also a past President and REALTOR® of the Year recipient of the Greater Idaho Falls Association of REALTORS®. She has experience in the escrow business as well, having served nearly 4 years as an Escrow Officer in Coeur d' Alene and Boise. Passionate about real estate education, Janis is a former trainer for a company of 450+ agents and is currently a Certified Real Estate Instructor for the Idaho Real Estate Commission, having authored and developed many courses for continuing education credit. She is the Designated Broker for the TREG Referral Network, Inc., an Idaho/Washington corporation that was developed to assist inactive agents in capitalizing on their former real estate careers.
JANIS MOONEY
Chris Mooney has been in the real estate business for over 35 years. He is the Senior Vice President of the Tomlinson Real Estate Group of Companies and the Designated Broker for the Tomlinson North Idaho Sotheby’s International Realty office in Coeur d' Alene, ID. Throughout his real estate career, he has been a certified instructor in both Idaho and Washington for over 28 years, teaching a myriad of courses such as Professional Standards, Real Estate Law, Essentials of Real Estate, Real Estate Practices, Broker Management and Commission Core classes. His knowledge spans across the title insurance industry as well, having served as a Regional Director of Education before taking over as Vice-President and manager for several divisions of Safeco Title Insurance in Tri-Cities, Washington, as well as Manager of Operations for the Seattle - King County area. In 1999 he became Vice President and manager of Alliance Title Insurance Corporation in Pocatello, Idaho. Embarking on a highly successful real estate career, from 1983-1997 Chris was a partner and broker in the family real estate business of Tomlinson-Black, a prominent real estate company in both Idaho and Washington, where he later became Vice President of mergers and acquisition for the company. In 1992 he was selected as the Idaho Association of REALTOR’S®, REALTOR® of the year and in 1995 was elected President of the Idaho Association of REALTORS®. Chris has been the recipient of numerous top producer awards and holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation, the Seller Representative Specialist designation as well as being a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Membership and a National Association of REALTORS® Certified Professional Standards Administrator.
